In Karen’s words….
I feel honoured to work in such an exciting and fast-changing field of study as Nutrition. I love helping people to reach their optimal health and ultimately live their fullest lives as a result. Science-based nutritional advice is one of the most important aspects in my work and practice. I specialise in Digestive Health, Skin Health, energy (CFS and PVF), histamine and food allergies and weight management.
A number of years ago I moved to Hawaii to re-train as a yoga teacher and was overwhelmed by the dietary changes I had to make to ensure my body could perform at a high physical level. On returning to the UK, I consulted a registered Nutritional Therapist to support me with my health, which ultimately ignited my desire to train to become one myself! It is my goal to now help you to be the healthiest version of yourself possible.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I present talks to school as part of their PSHE programme via The Nutrition Guru, talking about childhood healthy eating, obesity and positive teenage body image. I also write for the media on a range of health topics and have been published in Top Sante, the Huffington Post and Sheerluxe magazine alongside the industry journal, ION nutrition magazine and I have recorded podcasts as an expert guest for both ION and BANT.
